10 September, 2009 President Stops Monopolization of Market of Waste Packaging Utilization
President Yushchenko has stopped certain provisions of the Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine #915 dated July 26th, 2001 "On Implementation of the System of Collecting, Sorting, Transportation, Recycling and Utilization of Wastes as Secondary Raw Materials" and #508 dated May 20th 2009, which introduced changes to the Resolution #915.

23 July, 2009 President Yushchenko has vetoed Draft Law #3459-1 Prohibiting Foreclosures
President Yushchenko has vetoed Draft Law # 3459-1 “On Protection of Citizens’ Rights While Ukrainian Economy is Overcoming Financial Crisis”, which envisaged a moratorium on the repossession of collateralized property in case the object of the pledge or mortgage is housing property where people live permanently. Such moratorium should have been valid during the crisis.
