CHAMBER TOASTMASTERS

Committee Meetings (Minutes / Reports)

Toastmasters Club Meeting
25 March, 2009, 18:30
Microsoft Ukraine office, 75 Zhylyanska St., Floor 4, Business Center Eurasia.

Agenda:

On March 25 the Chamber Toastmasters Club's members and guests had a marvelous meeting with all roles available led by the experienced member Gleb Krivenko.

Tania Lukinyuk delivered her first speech from Interpersonal Communication Manual "Whose Fault Is It?" aimed at defusing verbal criticism. The project included three parts: a theoretic one, practical – playing in roles, and a feedback from the audience. Besides the comments from the audience, the evaluation of the project was done by Oksana Ivanchenko.

Iryna Tertytsia broke the ice with her first ever in the Club speech under the title "Life, Oh Life". With her speech Iryna demonstrated brilliantly how goals in our life should be set and then, despite barriers and difficulties, achieved. Iryna's speech was evaluated by one of the most professional toastmasters Helen Domotenko.

The Table Topics Session, prepared by Tatyana Konyushenko, was of quite a deep character. It was dedicated to human emotions and feeling. A lot of questions were really complicated, but the Club's members and guests managed to provide impromptu answers full of warm emotions, smiles, and broad gestures. The Table Topics Session was evaluated by Yuliya Kobuk.

The general evaluation roles were filled in by Paul Verest (Grammarian), Iryna Grygoryeva (Ah-Counter) and Yuriy Yakovenko (Timer).

Toastmasters Club Meeting
3 March, 2009
Microsoft Ukraine office, 75 Zhylyanska St., Floor 4, Business Center Eurasia.

Agenda:

The Chamber Toastmasters Club’s meeting brought together its members and guests on the March 4. The very warm and inspiring atmosphere was caused by the breath of spring and the feeling that winter’s race is nearly run.

There were two prepared speeches: project #9 under the title “Life Is A Miracle” made by Volodymyr Panchenko and aimed at persuading listeners with power, and Project #10 “What Are Your Dreams?” delivered by Oleg Lagodiyenko with the objective to inspire the audience. They had a common idea – to give pieces of advice and make the audience think on how to be happy, wealthy and healthy, but at the same time were delivered with a different focus.

The projects were evaluated by two experienced Club’s members – Helen Domotenko and Volodymyr Vakhitov. They provided fair, critical, well-weighed, and simultaneously encouraging feedbacks.

Volodymyr Vakhitov also served as the Table Topic Master. The questions dedicated to celebration of March 8th were full of humour, trickiness, and creative thinking. Gleb Krivenko evaluated the TT Session and managed to do this theatrically and lively.

The meeting was led by its Toastmaster Yulia Kobuk.
