Agenda:

We were pleased to host a distinguished guest-speaker Mr. Sergii Tereshenko, Honoured Economist of Ukraine, Head of the Department of the State Scientific Research Institute of Customs Affairs of the State Customs Service of Ukraine to discuss the issue of customs value and EU legislation application in this sphere.

Working language of the Meeting was Ukrainian.

Mission Statement

Mission of the Chamber Customs Committee is to contribute to development of the customs legislation that would be simple, modern, adaptable, realistic and tangible and to develop a professional Forum for discussion of the customs issues. Priorities include work on the following issues: Customs value; Selected classification and origin issues; Customs post-entry audits and appeal procedure; Declaration of goods to customs; Modernization of customs regimes; Customs payments (including refunds); Authorized economic operators.
