The Chamber held its Annual General Membership Meeting welcoming hundreds of senior level representatives of the business and diplomatic communities, Government officials and other important partners, who had a chance to network with each other, catch up on latest developments, share best practice and learn of new accomplishments in the B2G dialogue.

The highlight of the Reception was announcement of the new 2016 Chamber Board of Directors - a team of dedicated business leaders, that will directly influence Chamber's successful operations and the development of our country's business environment in the nearest future.

We are grateful to our special guest speakers for their words of support and encouragement for the Chamber and the business community present in Ukraine.

Volodymyr Groysman, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada:

"At the moment we are witnessing profound changes and transformations in the development of Ukraine. It is our responsibility to make sure we transform the post-Soviet corrupt state into a flourishing European one. Our country is changing because every one of you is doing his job responsibly"

Jerome Vacher, International Monetary Fund Resident Representative in Ukraine:

"Let me thank The American Chamber of Commerce for being such a great arena for discussion on public policies where we can get proper feedback from businesses. Much has been achieved this year. We do see some tentative signs of stabilization. We do see it in the indicators of GBP. We do see some signs of stabilization on the foreign exchange market, in the financial sector we see that deposits in hryvnia have been increasing. This is all encouraging"

Graham Tiley, Country Chair / General Manager at Shell Ukraine:

2015 has been truly tough for business in Ukraine, but has again proven that challenging times open up new windows of opportunities. We have reached a new level of dialogue involving genuine reformers in Government, international partners, NGO's and business. Furthermore, we have seen this dialogue translated into action in the form of reforms"

We are grateful for your continuous support, and would like to take this opportunity to once again emphasize that all the great accomplishments highlighted by Mr. Graham Tiley, Chairman of 2015 Chamber Board of Directors, in his address last night, are attributable to your and other Chamber Members' active engagement.

We look forward to further joining efforts with you for the benefit of the internationally oriented business community operating in Ukraine, and encourage you and your colleagues to get even more engaged in 2016 and beyond.
