The Chamber Annual General Membership Meeting featured the Presentation of the Chamber's analytical report "2012-2013 Partnership for Ukraine to Successfully Compete in the Global Economy" as well as announcement of the new composition of 2013 Chamber Board of Directors.

This event was an ideal time for CEOs of Chamber Member companies to:

Competitiveness Partnership:

The guest list included Chamber COIs, senior level representatives of the Government of Ukraine, key policy makers, as well as coalition partners from the expert, NGO, donor and diplomatic community gathered together for an interesting discussion of Ukraine’s competitive positioning versus other countries, what was the driver of the World Economic Forum rankings and why such dramatic movements, and what senior leaders of the Ukrainian government plan to do in regards to increasing competitiveness in 2013.

Plugging Into and Shaping the Chamber’s Policy Agenda:

Through a specially designed interactive ‘break out’ session the event provided an opportunity to become more familiar with the policy activities of the Chamber Committees in the fields of agriculture, banking, energy, real estate, information and communication technologies, etc., as well as key investment climate drivers like tax and customs systems and protection of intellectual property rights.

Participants got an exclusive opportunity to get a tour ‘behind the scenes’ of the Chamber Policy Process and to be engaged in hands-on discussions with the leadership of the Chamber Committees as well as Policy Officers who work on these issues on a daily basis.
