On December 7, Chamber President Andy Hunder participated in Sustainable Resource Management Forum devoted to the implementation of Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) and its first EITI report.
Mr. Hunder spoke at the panel discussion devoted to Fostering of Private Investment in the Oil and Gas Sector and focused on stressing the importance of the Oil and Gas sector in Ukraine. He highlighted that investors were seeking improvement of current conditions, and some important steps were accomplished by the Government: the governmental institutions show openness and readiness to cooperate with business. On the other hand, it is necessary to speed up the process of reforms, as well as to actively and consistently communicate the changes and outcomes both to businesses already investing in Ukraine, and to the international community, which could invest in Ukraine tomorrow.
On December 4, the Chamber held a Presentation of the promo-video on Tourism Potential of Ukraine with participation of representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.
Ms. Yuliia Kovaliv, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, assured that tourism reform and development in Ukraine are one of main factors of economic growth.
Chamber held the Meeting with MP Taras Kutoviy, Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations and MP Ivan Miroshnichenko, Member of the Parliamentary Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations.
