The Chamber has been providing suggestions regarding the further development of a successfully functioning Council. Decision was made to establish 13 Working Groups working on a specific area providing recommendations to appropriate government structures. The Chamber's representatives are included in the Working Groups of the Investment Council together with many fellow Member companies and organizations. We would encourage all interested Members to be actively engaged in this important advocacy activity by assigning your representatives to monitor and provide professional feedback in the framework of one of the following area:
As Members of the Chamber regularly face certain issues and problems, which now could be addressed in this potentially impactful format, we would encourage you to keep in touch with the Chamber Policy Team to raise problems and issues in the above mentioned sectors as well as suggesting mechanisms for improving the overall operational environment for your company. Please contact Ilona Zadvorna, Chamber Senior Policy Officer to discuss issues as well as reccomendatuions that can be put forth within the framework of the Cabinet of Minister's Investors Council. Applications are also being accepted to participate in the various Working Groups under the umbrella of this organization. * * * The Policy Team would like to share with you the list of seven (7) Drafts Laws that have been highlighted by the Co-Chair of the Investors Council Mr. Serhiy Tygypko and in his opinion should adopted by the Verkhovna Rada and he plans to send a letter to Mr. Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Head of the Parliament supporting the priority status of the below mentioned draft legislation. 1) Draft Law # 1362 “On Changes to the Law of Ukraine on Permission System in the Sphere of Economic Activity" submitted by President of Ukraine.
