The Chamber held a special “Insiders View” Meeting entitled “Where to Invest in Ukraine.” This time the guest speakers were from leading banks, consultancies and investment funds who provided their insight on prospects of different investment tools.

The Chamber was pleased to host a series of special Chamber "Insiders View" Meetings entitled "The Global Financial Crisis and the Repercussions for Business in Ukraine – One Year After It All Began". This time around were the guest speakers  from leading banks and consultancies who provided "A View from October 2009".

The Chamber's Policy Team was pleased to announce the Chamber "Insiders View" Meeting that was focused on the current situation with the economy and provided suggestions on how to build a post election economic development strategy focusing on increasing Ukraine’s Competitiveness. Our guest speaker was a well-known economic expert Anders Aslund.

Chamber "Insiders View" Meeting - EURO 2012: Plans and Priorities for Ukrainian Host Cities Chosen in Bucharest took place on Thursday, May 14. This time the format of the event included presentation of Mr. Ivan Vasiunyk, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and Mr. Grygoriy Surkis, President of the Football Federation of Ukraine.

The Chamber was pleased to host Ms. Ceyla Pazarbasioglu, IMF Mission Head in Ukraine at the Chamber "Insiders View" Meeting.

The Chamber Policy Team was pleased to hold another successful "Insiders View" Meeting which focused on the current political situation and possible scenarios for further developments within the prism of the global financial crisis.

The panelist included Mr. Max Alier - newly appointed IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine, Mr. Andre Kuusvek - Director, Ukraine - European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Ms. Olena Voloshyna - Country Representative in Ukraine of the International Finance Corporation (IFC)

Continuing the series of "Insiders View" sessions the Chamber invited all interested Members to attend: Chamber "Insiders View" - the Current Global Instability and the Repercussions for Ukraine: A View from February 2009.

Chamber Open Banking and Financial Services Committee "Insiders View" Meeting featured a guest speaker Mr. Balazs Horvath, IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine.

The Chamber was pleased to hold an "Insiders View" meeting continuing to explore the repercussions of the global financial turbulence on the business community operating in Ukraine as part of the overall Chamber strategy to provide access to information and decision makers while providing input into the development of processes to address the issues in Ukraine for the benefit of the Chamber Membership.

Considering the relevance and importance of the recent developments in the global financial markets as well as the specificities of the Ukrainian internal political and economic situation, the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine ("Chamber") hosted a special session for representatives of Chamber Member companies to benefit from an in-depth discussion of these issues with market insiders.

The Chamber, continuing appreciated tradition of providing the Members and partners with access to information and decision-makers responsible for certain areas interesting for investors as well as continuing to address one of the 2008 Chamber Policy Priorities - Successful Implementation of EURO 2012 - was pleased to hold the Chamber "Insiders View" Meeting - EURO 2012: Where Are We Now and Future Steps for Success.

The Chamber was pleased to hold an "Insiders View" Meeting which gathered Mr. Vadym Karasiov, Institute for Global Strategies, Mr. Volodymyr Fesenko, Center of Political Researches "Penta" and Mr. Kost Bondarenko, Kiev Institute of Governing Problems - well-known political and economic experts to discuss current political situation and possible scenarios for further developments.

The Chamber was pleased to host an "Insiders' View" meeting with leading political experts that focused on the Parliamentary Elections, which are scheduled to take place on September 30.
