A Chamber Knowledge Seminar was held within the framework of the Chamber's "Competitiveness of the Ukrainian Economy" Series. The COIs participated in a Seminar delivered by new Chamber Member, Hay Group, on the topic of Conditions and Benefits to Lead Organizations by Effective Leadership Teams.

The Chamber Human Resources Committee Leadership together with the HR department of the Kyiv National Economic University (KNEU) started implementing educational program “HR University” which is expected to expand to other universities in the future. 

The American Chamber of Commerce conducted a Chamber Knowledge  Seminar"Mediation as Toolkit for Effective Dispute Resolution", organized jointly with Ukraine Corporate Governance Mediation Project of the IFC.

All Chamber Members were invited to participate in the Chamber Knowledge Seminar "Mediation as an Alternative Mechanism for Resolving Internal Company Disputes", organized jointly with Ukraine Corporate Governance Mediation Project of the IFC.

Due to the great success and numerous requests from the Chamber Members the American Chamber of Commerce and PricewaterhouseCoopers successfully held yet another Seminar "Tax and Customs Audits".

The Chamber Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) presented a U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Cyber Crime Security Awareness Briefing that  by FBI Special  Agent John Caruthers.

The Chamber hosted another in a series of Seminars Competitiveness of the Ukrainian Economy: “Management Systems". Continuing the tradition of providing the Membership with access to cutting-edge technologies and international best practices, the Chamber invited all interested Members to attend the seminar "STATE-OF-THE-ART SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS - NEW ERA IN MANUFACTURING", which was kindly conducted by the Chamber Member Information Software Systems Ltd.

The Chamber was pleased to host another Seminar in series Competitiveness of Ukraine entitled “Practical Aspects of Establishing, Implementing, Improving and Certification of a Management Systems” presented by Dr. Leonid Gorshkov, TUeV CERT-Senior-auditor, director of Kyiv branch of TUeV NORD Ukraine Ltd.

Chamber was pleased to take part in the EBRD Transition Report Presentation that took place at the Ukraine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Chamber continues to be a reliable partner and information supporter and jointly organize events aimed to support Ukraine's competitiveness plans and programs, to raise awareness among the private and State sectors on the competitiveness issue and to contribute to the public discussion of it.

Human Resources occupy a separate important place for development of competitive economy of any country. Chamber hosted the Seminar "Investors in People" on Thursday, November 16, 2006.

The Chamber in conjunction with Chamber Members Baker & McKenzie and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) hosted a briefing seminar on Environmental Issues Facing Investors in Ukraine.
