Although the morning sky did not look promising, the Picnic's dream of SUN & FUN did become true

On Friday, July 13th the Chamber was pleased to hold the final stage of the Picnic 2007 - Volunteers Appreciation Party at Magnit Restaurant.

The Chamber hosted an Appreciation Reception for the Sponsors of the Annual Charitable Independence Day Picnic. The event took place on board the 'Kyivs'ka Lastivka' as guests enjoyed a beautiful summer evening on the majestic Dniper river.

On Saturday, July 7th the Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine held the 2007 Annual Charitable Independence Day Picnic at Aerodrome "Chayka". 

The Chamber was pleased to once again organize the Annual American Independence Day Picnic in Kyiv which was held on Saturday, July 1st.

Thousands of guests came out to the new venue, Aerodrome Chayka, to enjoy live music, a Golden Telecom parachute show, Gala Chill Zone and great contests, complimentary Clearwater, Coca Cola and Manzaro Products as well as Lakomka and Nestle ice-cream, Nestle and Manzaro coffee, tasty cold draught Stella Artois and Chernigivske beer, traditional (and not so traditional) American Picnic Food provided by Chamber Partner Restaurants and, of course, the Grand Raffle! The young ones had fun in the Kid's Zone while every child walked away with a goodie bag filled with fun stuff.

Close to 5000 guests came out to Spartak Stadium to enjoy live music, Djedjula Momentum contests, Gala Radio Music, free Coca Cola and Manzaro Products, free Lakomka and Nestle ice-cream, Nestle and Manzaro coffee, tasty cold draught Stella Artois and Chernigivske beer, traditional (and not so traditional) American Picnic Food provided by Chamber Gourmet Club Restaurants and, of course, the Grand Raffle! Kids had fun in the Metro Cash and Carry Kid’s Zone while every child walked away with a goodie bag filled with fun stuff.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine working closely with our partners was proud to again organize the American Independence Day Charity Picnic which has become an outstanding tradition that the entire Kyiv community looks forward to as a start to the summer season. The Charity Picnic is one of the most heavily sponsored events on the social calendar that brings together many Chamber Member companies in support of this wonderful family event that celebrates freedom, democracy and friendship among nations while raising money for those who are less fortunate. This is the 13th year that this Picnic has taken place in Ukraine and it is no accident that it coincides with Ukraine's Independence and pursuit of a democratically driven market economy.

Around 4000 people attended this fantastic charity event throughout the day. Events at the Picnic included live musical entertainment from some well-known performers and DJs, games for adults and kids, a special Kid's Zone, fireworks, a Grand Raffle, and of course, tasty food and cold beverages all provided by Chamber Members.

The Chamber was pleased to once again organize the 12th Annual American Independence Day Picnic in Kyiv which was held on Saturday, July 5th. The day started with some heavy rain but luckily Mother Nature was unable to spoil a most excellent celebration! Close to 3500 guests came out to Spartak Stadium to enjoy live music, Gala Radio Contests, free Coca Cola Products, free Lakomka and Troyanda ice-cream, tasty cold draught Taller beer, traditional (and not so traditional) American Picnic Food provided by Chamber Member Restaurants and Caterers and, of course, the Grand Raffle! Kids had fun on the Carnival Rides sponsored by UMC as well as a play ground sponsored by Nestle/Svitoch while they all walked away with a goodie bag filled with fun stuff that they received in the free Children's raffle.

The American Chamber of Commerce's 11th Annual American Independence Day Picnic held in Kyiv, Ukraine took place Saturday, July 6th starting at 4pm at Spartak Stadium. Over 3000 people attended this fantastic charity event and all proceeds from this excellent Family Picnic were donated to worthy Charities throughout Ukraine in conjunction with Eurasia Foundation's Corporate Matching Grants Program.

The American Chamber of Commerce’s Tenth Annual American Independence Day Picnic held in Kyiv, Ukraine took place Saturday, July 7th starting at 4pm at Spartak Stadium. Over 3000 people attended this fantastic charity event. Many Americans and friends of America brought family and friends for a fun day of food, beverages, live music, games, and special surprises! The Chamber featured many different kids activities which included a children’s playground donated by Kodak, a free raffle for children where everybody won a prize as well as clowns who provided entertainment and sometimes a nice break for parents during the day. All guests were also provided with an opportunity to ride in Hot Air Balloons provided by UMC & Kodak. The event culminated with an amazing fireworks display sponsored by Golden Telecom.

The American Chamber of Commerce’s Ninth Annual 4th of July Picnic in Kyiv took place Saturday, July 1st starting at 4pm at Spartak Stadium. Over 2000 people joined in the celebrations with their friends and colleagues. All of the proceeds of this great family event were donated to local needy charities (orphanages).

A lot of people brought their friends & family for a fun day of food, beverages, music, games, and special surprises! Everyone was there. Beach chairs, blankets, frisbees, footballs and such were highly encouraged!

The American Chamber of Commerce’s 8th Annual Independence Day Picnic in Kyiv took place Sunday, July 4th starting at 12pm at Spartak Stadium.

Guests of the Picnic enjoyed tasty food, cold beverages and ice cream, as well as quick friendly service. The scheduled events included children’s games, sports, live music, parachutists, and the very popular and successful Grand Raffle!

As the Annual Independence Day Picnic is a charitable event the proceeds from the 8th Picnic were donated to the Missionaries of Charity Soup Kitchen, the Samaritan Fund for Street Children in Kyiv, and the Junior Achievement Program in Ukraine.
