The Chamber was proud to continue the long standing tradition of organizing the Annual Charitable American Independence Day Picnic in Kyiv, inviting all interested Members, their friends and families to a festive Picnic in Kyiv. This time around the event gathered over three thousand people at Spartak Stadium on July 4^th, 2009.

Big THANKS to the thousands of people who came and enjoyed the Picnic and big THANKS to the generous Sponsors, without whom the event would have not been so successful!

The beautiful weather ensured all attendees had fun enjoying all kinds of entertainment offered at the venue. This year Chamber Member American Medical Center treated the kids to cotton candy and face painting. The host of the Picnic, Igor Posypayko, made sure all guests had fun and facilitated all kinds of contests and gave out prizes from the sponsors. Horseback riding was provided by Chamber Member Avis. Ukrainian Music Holding "Lavina" once again brought celebrity headliners to the event including the Ukrainian rock band "S.K.A.I." The culmination of the celebration was stunning and breathtaking fireworks generously sponsored by TNK BP which took place right after the Grand Raffle. The Chamber thanks all who attended and supported this successful event and is looking forward to hosting the 18th Annual Charitable American Independence Day Picnic in 2010!
