                     <title><![CDATA[Chamber Toastmasters Club Meeting]]></title>

                     <description><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">On February 1<sup>st</sup>, 2012 Chamber Toastmasters Club invited all Chamber Members willing to advance their public speaking and leadership skills to its meeting.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The meeting was conducted by Jenia Poluektova, a winner of All-Ukrainian Toastmasters Speech contest.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">All guests had a chance to listen to and learn from three prepared speeches, as well as take part in Table Topics Session answering questions prepared by Lily Klyamar.</p>

                     <description><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">The Chamber Toastmasters Club was pleased to invite all Chamber Members willing to improve their public speaking and presentation skills to its regular meeting. The meeting was a traditional combination of prepared and impromptu speeches, all of which were thoroughly evaluated by experienced Members of the Club. The audience had a chance to enjoy presentations by three speakers:&nbsp;</p>

The audience&nbsp;had a&nbsp;unique chance to see speakers at various stages of their Toastmaster career.<br /><br />The winner of the All-Ukrainian Speech Contest 2010 and 2011 <strong>Ms</strong><strong>.</strong><strong> Evgenia Poluektova</strong> delivered an inspirational speech and shared her experience in participating in speech contests.<br /><strong><br />Mr</strong><strong>.</strong><strong> Askold Klyus</strong> presented another project from the Competent Communication manual.</p>

                     <title><![CDATA[Chamber Toastmasters Club Meeting]]></title>

                     <description><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">On November 30, 2011 the Chamber Toastmasters Club held its regulat meeting. The Toastmaster <strong>Alex Kobzev, International Finance Corporation </strong>led&nbsp;the participants&nbsp;through the main structural parts of the meeting, i.e. prepared and impromptu speaking sessions, as well as evaluation of speeches.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Prepared speeches were delivered by very experienced Members of the Club:</p>
<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li><strong>Lilia Klyamar, Sumix Ukraine</strong> presented her Project #9 &ldquo;Persuade with Power&rdquo; from the Competent Communicator Manual;</li>
<li><strong>Olesya Artemenko, Kraft Foods Ukraine</strong> demonstrated her proficiency in public speaking delivering a project from the Advanced Communicator Manual.</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The session of impromptu speeches was orchestrated by <strong>Oleksandr Naglov, UkrSibbank</strong> who challenged the audience with intriguing and creative questions.</p>

                     <description><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">The Chamber Toastmasters Club invites all Chamber Members willing to master their public speaking and leadership skills to attend its exciting meeting sparkled with thought-provoking ideas, challenging impromptu tasks, jokes, and lots of fun in a company of interesting people.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Three prepared speeches will be delivered by our proficient Toastmasters: Elena Diomina , Alexander Naglov, and Evgenia Poluektova, the winner of the All Ukrainian Toastmasters Speech Contest 2010 and 2011. While <strong>Alexander Naglov</strong> is going to impress the audience with his ability to most effectively use his voice, <strong>Elena Diomina</strong> and <strong>Evgenia Poluektova</strong> will demonstrate their skill to ground a speech with profound research.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Table Topics Session will be led by <strong>Olesya Artemenko</strong> who is sure to shake up the whole audience with challenging and unpredictable questions.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Kostyantyn Krasovsky</strong>, one of the new Club members, will d&eacute;but in the most responsible role of the Toastmaster of the meeting.&nbsp;</p>

<p><em><strong>3. </strong></em><strong><em>Sofia Huzenko </em></strong>with her Speech #4 "Refrain Not To Kill Is Righ".</p>
<p>The prepared speeches were followed by intriguing Table Topics Session of prepared questions and only improvised answers conducted by Glib Kryvenko, and inspiring evaluations provided by professional Toastmasters.</p>

                     <title><![CDATA[Chamber Toastmasters Club Demonstration Meeting "Learn How You Can Easily Improve Your Presentation Skills to Further Your Career"]]></title>

                     <description><![CDATA[<img align="left" vspace="5" hspace="10" src="http://www.chamber.ua/files/gallery/icons/committeeBigIcon/big_CUV1187.jpg" width="100" height="60" /><p style="text-align: justify;">On Wednesday, April 13th, Chamber Toastmasters Club held its Demonstration Meeting "Learn How You Can Easily Improve Your Presentation Skills to Further Your Career" at the Chamber Conference Facility. Chamber Members interested in advancing their public speaking and leadership skills attended this exciting and value added event.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">All Chamber Toastmasters Club Members and guests enjoyed a demonstration of a regular Toastmasters meeting with talented speakers, helpful evaluation team, lots of impromptu speaking, humor, and fun. The meeting was hosted by Chamber Toastmaster Club member<strong> Mr. Oleksandr Kobzyev</strong>, International Finance Corporation.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The event had the usual Toastmasters Club meeting structure. So the first prepared speech was delivered by <strong>Mr. Jorge Zukoski</strong>, President of the American Chamber of Commerce, Founder of the Chamber Toastmasters Club who highlighted the Chamber as a leading advocacy and lobbying organization in Ukraine, stressed the Chamber&rsquo;s mission and activities as those that aim at increasing competiveness of Ukrainian economy and creation of synergy between the state and private sector. Then Mr. Zukoski presented Chamber Toastmasters Club as one of the venues adding value to Chamber Members and their personal competitiveness and providing platform for improving leadership and public speaking skills in professional environment.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The second prepared speech was presented by <strong>Mr. Volodymyr Vakhitov</strong>, Assistant Professor at Kyiv School of Economics, Competent Toastmaster of the Club with a speech titled "The Story of Two Suitcases". The speech combined personal touch, humor, audience&rsquo;s involvement, and confident delivery.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Table Topics Session was hosted by an experienced Toastmaster <strong>Mr. Glib Krivenko, </strong>U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) who is known for his ability to challenge even the most professional toastmasters with his intriguing questions. All attendees of the meeting had a chance to participate in this session and surprise the audience with their answers.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Evaluation Session provided all speakers and listeners with a good food for thought, as it is always the&nbsp;most instructive part of Toastmasters meetings, well-balanced with honest praise, sound criticism, and improvement suggestions.<em>&nbsp;</em></p>

                     <title><![CDATA[All-Ukrainian Toastmasters Speech Contest]]></title>

                     <description><![CDATA[<img align="left" vspace="5" hspace="10" src="http://www.chamber.ua/files/gallery/icons/committeeBigIcon/bigtoastmasters.jpg" width="100" height="60" /><p style="text-align: justify;">The <strong>Seventh All-Ukrainian Toastmasters Speech Contest</strong> conducted on April 16<sup>th</sup>, 2011 once again showcased the <strong>Chamber Toastmasters Club's</strong> great capabilities to enhance public speaking and leadership skills of its Members. The Club's Members <strong>Ms.</strong> <strong>Eugenia Poluektova, </strong>Sumix Ukraine and <strong>Ms.</strong> <strong>Ilona Postemska</strong>, Embassy of Switzerland with their speeches &ldquo;Too Much Information&rdquo; and &ldquo;The Biggest Evil&rdquo; became the winners of the contest and took the first and second places respectively.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It was the fourth year in a row that the Chamber Toastmasters Club won the annual All-Ukrainian Toastmasters Speech Contest, which is the most special event in the Ukrainian Toastmasters community. Moreover, Ms. Eugenia Poluektova took home the winner's trophy for the second consecutive year, being also the Best Ukrainian Toastmasters Speaker 2010.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="background-color: #c0c0c0;">The Chamber congratulates the winners on this significant achievement in their public speaking advancement and wish them continuing development and satisfaction from their future attainments in professional life.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">During the Meeting three speeches were delivered by both beginning and seasoned Toastmasters.&nbsp;</p>

<li><strong><em>Dmytro Dziuba</em></strong>&nbsp;presented his competent communication project #2 aimed at proper organization of a speech.</li>
<li><strong><em>Glib Kryvenko,</em></strong> one of the most experienced members of the Club,&nbsp;galvanized the audience once again with his speech from an advanced communication manual.</li>
<li><strong><em>Olga Pustyntseva</em></strong>&nbsp;made her speech #3 as one more step on her advanced communication path.&nbsp;</li>

                     <description><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Chamber Toastmasters Club held its&nbsp;regular meeting which&nbsp;consisted of three exciting parts: prepared speeches, impromptu speaking session, and evaluation.</p>
<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li><strong>Eugenia Grab</strong> (Pulse Ukraine) delivered her project #4 dedicated the selection of the right words and structure of a public speech.</li>
<li><strong>Liliya Klyamar</strong> (Sumix Ukraine) supported the main ideas of her project #8 with visual aids.</li>
<li><strong>Yulia Kobuk</strong> presented the very first of her advanced communication projects aimed at persuasive speaking.</li>

                     <description><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">On Wednesday, February 9<sup>th</sup> the Chamber Toastmasters Club held its regular meeting. There were three speakers: Michael Kurochkin with his Ice Breaker&rsquo;s speech, Irina Grigoryeva, and Yuriy Chalenko that made the evening very interesting and exciting.</p>
