On January 31 senior leaders of Chamber Member companies had an opportunity to experience the largest targeted Business Networking event in Kyiv – the 2012 Chamber Annual Members Appreciation Reception which ushered in a year where the Chamber will celebrate our 20 Year Anniversary.

The Chamber was pleased to offer its Members an opportunity to participate in the Chamber Knowledge Seminar held with Chamber Member Kyiv Mohyla Business School designed for PR and marketing specialists, managers of communication departments and those who wanted to improve their effective communication skills.

The presentation was led by Mr. Jeromin Zettelmeyer, EBRD Deputy Chief Economist, Mr. Alex Pivovarsky, Senior Economist for Eastern Europe and moderated by Mr. André Küüsvek, Director of EBRD Ukraine.

The Chamber officially opened the new business season at the Chamber Traditional “Welcome Back” Business Networking Cocktail.

The program is based on the book of the same name written by Stephen R. Covey. Combination of bright video with practical tools makes this program useful both for those who have already read the book, and for those who have not.

The Chamber is thrilled to invite all employees of Chamber Member companies for a last this year Business Networking Cocktail "Christmas is in the Air" that will take place at the Chamber Gourmet Club Member Paris Dakar.

The Chamber offered its Members an opportunity to participate in the Chamber Knowledge Seminar "Does the New Simplified Taxation System Make Life Simpler?" held with Chamber Member PARITET Law Firm.

The Chamber in conjunction with D*LUX Complex and Metro Cash & Carry invited all Chamber COIs and Business Leaders to the last in 2011 Business Leaders League Meeting "Holiday Wine Tasting."

The event was organized at the initiative of the Chamber Working Group on EURO-2012 and served as a platform for meeting of the private sector and local authorities to discuss the ways of joining their efforts to make cities more competitive and best promote territories before, during and after EURO-2012.

The Draft Law #8130-д "On Amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine and Certain Other Legislative Acts of Ukraine" was adopted by Verkhovna Rada on Thursday, November 3 and, after signed by the President, comes into force on January 1, 2012, except for several specific clauses.

All Chamber Member companies had the ability to cast one ballot during the election regardless of the Membership category or the nationality of capital of the Member Company. Therefore, all Chamber Member companies had an equal voice in defining the strategic direction of the Chamber in 2012 and beyond.
